WMI completed its annual Experiential field class last week dubbed Sustainable land use management (SLUSE), the field class took place between 3rd to 14th March which was held in Othaya, Karima, Nyeri . It involved 13 students from University of Nairobi, WMI and Geography masters students and 12 from University of Copenhagen. A community feedback meeting was held on 14th March in Othaya Mau Mau Memorial hall. Students interacted with the community members, during the feedback meeting, counter sharing knowledge. The field class provides an opportunity for students to experience challenges faced by community members and how best they try to solves these challenges.
