Sustainable Land Use (SLUSE) Programme

Interdisciplinary Land Use and Natural Resource Management, is an MSc course, which has been offered in WMI since 2012 as part of the MSc curriculum 2nd Semester unit. The field experiential programme is meant to give student firsthand experience of the activities that community and other stakeholders at the grassroots level are involved in resource governance covering both environmental and social aspects. An important objective is to approach these issues in an interdisciplinary fashion by taking point of departure in natural, agricultural, social and cultural theories and methods. The course has since 2012 been offered jointly with the University of Copenhagen and Roskilde University (RUC).
