Invitation to join live online International conference on Environmental factors and the COVID-19 Pandemic

The live online conference, titled “Climatological, Meteorological and Environmental factors in the COVID-19 Pandemic conference” will be held 4-6 August 2020, 900-1200 EDT/1300-1600 GMT or 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM local time. There are participants from six continents attending this meeting.

This international virtual symposium will help elucidate what is known, understood, and can be reliably predicted about environmental variables’ influence on the trajectory of the COVID-19 epidemic, from global, hemispheric, regional and local perspectives. Symposium outcomes will include a synthesis of the information presented and recommendations for further research at local to global scales.

Protocols of conference
The conference is designed with smaller, interactive sessions and sessions that involve relaying the most up-to-date science to conference participants. All questions from conference participants will be taken via the chat function in the meeting. No questions will be taken verbally. Several scientists will be monitoring the chat and gathering questions to be asked to speakers.

All abstracts are available for viewing in the conference gallery. A live viewing of abstract posters will be held 4 August, 1020-1100 EDT/1420-1500GMT or 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM local time. Many authors will be available for chat during this time period at the conference gallery.
