Wangari Maathai Institute for Peace and Environmental Studies (WMI) Participates in the 64th University of Nairobi Graduation Ceremony – December 11, 2020

Prof. David N. Mungai, Director WMI, presented two (2) graduands from the Wangari Maathai Institute during the 64th graduation ceremony held at the University of Nairobi on December 11, 2020. Among the graduands were Ogutu Florence Akinyi and Mwakesi Irene Wakio who were awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Governance and Management. The graduation ceremony was presided over by the Chancellor, Dr Vijoo Rattansi who conferred degrees and awarded diplomas to 5,709 graduands and 2 honorary degrees.
