The Wangari Maathai Institute for Peace and Environmental Studies (WMI) received a strong delegation from the University of West Indies led by Prof. Eudine Barriteau, Pro Vice-Chancellor, University of West Indies, Barbados on January 9, 2020. The delegation was accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education and the Dirctor, Corporate Affairs, University of Nairobi. They had come to the Institute to explore areas of Research and Education collaboration. They were received by Prof. David Mungai, Director, WMI.
