The Tropical Biology Association (TBA) team visited WMI on 3rd August 2023 to explore collaborative capacity building opportunities with WMI. TBA has been training the conservation leaders of tomorrow since 1995.
Dr Rosie Trevelyan, Director of the Tropical Biology Association, a capacity building NGO with offices in Cambridge, UK and Nairobi. Rosie is a passionate advocate of capacity building as a vital tool for effective conservation. A zoologist with a PhD from Oxford University, she has been at TBA from the beginning, creating the courses that TBA runs and making sure TBA’s teaching has real and lasting impact.
Anthony Kuria, Head, Tropical Biology Association, African Office, Nairobi. He has taught on field courses in Kenya, Uganda, Madagascar and Tanzania and numerous specialist courses.
