The Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) Program is an international science and education program that provides students and the public worldwide with the opportunity to participate in data collection and the scientific process, and contribute meaningfully to our understanding of the Earth system and global environment. The GLOBE seminar will be delivered by Charles Mwangi. Mr. Mwangi is the Deputy Country Coordinator for the GLOBE Program in Kenya and a member of the GLOBE Program Technology Working Group representing the Africa region. GLOBE Program supports students, teachers, and scientists in research collaborations using inquiry-based investigations of the environment and the earth system. Mr. Mwangi holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Control Engineering) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and Bachelor’s degree in Technology Education (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) from Moi University. He has over 12 years experience in Electrical Engineering training and support.
